IABC recognizes excellence in organizational communications at the international, national and chapter levels. We honour the outstanding communications work of individuals and teams and celebrate best practices that advance the profession with the following awards:

Communicator Awards Program

The Communicator Awards Program is a chapter-level award, replacing the Bronze Quill Awards, and celebrated at an annual gala and networking event.

Silver Leaf Award

The Silver Leaf Award is a national award, recognizing excellent work produced by Canadian communicators. Get expert feedback on your entries and national recognition for your strategic thinking and creative execution.

Gold Quill Award

The Gold Quill Award is an international award, recognizing the best in strategic communications from around the globe. Enter this competition and get recognized for your world-class thinking, receive quality feedback from trained evaluators and stand in the winners’ circle at the Gold Quill Gala.

Student Communicator of the Year

The IABC/BC Student Communicator of the Year (SCOY) Scholarship is offered by IABC/BC exclusively to its student members to recognize outstanding work in communications. The award is offered in partnership with Royal Roads University.
