Position Highlights

ICBC's Communications department has an exciting and challenging 2 year temporary opportunity for a Communications Specialist. Our group is responsible for communications planning in support of corporate projects and initiatives across all business areas.

In this role, your responsibilities will include: •Developing communication strategies and tactical plans for corporate projects and initiatives

•Writing communication materials (internal and external)

•Identifying potential issues which could impact the success of a project or the company’s reputation

•Maintaining productive relationships with key business area contacts

•Collaborating with other communicators, marketers, social media experts and the web team on communication strategies and tactical plans.

Position Requirements

Ideally, you have a background – and at least seven years direct experience – in corporate communications. Experience in a large, complex organization would be a valuable asset as would an undergraduate degree in a related field. A team player orientation, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
