Working in a project team-based environment, the Recruiting Associate supports a truly diverse roster of clients throughout Western Canada, and is responsible for prospecting, sourcing and assessing top talent across multiple professions and functional areas. You will use your strong prospecting skills and natural curiosity to uncover the best of the best for PFM’s clients, leveraging technology as well as pure proactive research. You are accountable to your PFM project teams as well as the firm’s clients, working both autonomously and collaboratively to reach outstanding results. The work is fast-paced and no two days are the same.

As the ideal candidate, you are a quick study, tenacious in your approach, and have a natural inclination toward outstanding customer service. You have an interest in the business and political landscape and have an ability to connect the dots and synthesize information effectively and efficiently. You are self-sufficient and can effectively manage your desk and use technology, and are comfortable meeting deadlines in a time-sensitive, project-based environment. You are an incredible communicator – both in writing and verbally – and you are comfortable reaching out to and speaking with senior business executives.

To support you in your success, you have a minimum of 2 – 5 years of work experience in recruitment, fund development, journalism or public relations, or sales. Your experience is ideally augmented by an undergraduate degree.
