Position Highlights
ICBC's Communications department has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Communications Specialist. Our group is responsible for communications planning in support of corporate project and initiatives across all business areas.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing communication strategies and tactical plans for corporate project and initiatives
- Writing communication materials (internal and external)
- Identifying potential issues which could impact the success of a project or the company’s reputation
- Maintaining productive relationships with key business area contacts
- Collaborating with other communicators, marketers, social media experts and the web team on communication strategies and tactical plans.
Position Requirements
Ideally, you have a background – and at least seven years direct experience – in corporate communications. Experience in a large, complex organization would be a valuable asset as would an undergraduate degree in a related field. A team player orientation, excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
