Temporary, Public Communications Experts
The City of Vancouver’s Corporate Communications department is looking for a roster of public communications experts to work on key outreach projects on a temporary, short-term basis.
Projects may include Arbutus Greenway, transportation, Greenest City, and community and social services projects. Most work is anticipated to be less than six months in length.
Key to these assignments is being part of an already established team to help design and implement effective and efficient communication plans, public and stakeholder consultation and engagement programs, issues management strategies, media events and messaging, along with content development and production on a variety of platforms.
Most work reports to a corporate communications manager in consultation with team members in social media, engagement, media relations and issues management, and internal communications. Experience working in a project team environment will be a definite asset.
