Warm up this winter with Let’s Get Toasty, the IABC/BC and CPRS holiday social!
About this event
Tis the season to break out your cozies and celebrate! Join two of B.C.’s leading communications and public relations organizations for a jolly good ‘virtual’ time. The evening will include games to get you laughing, holiday storytelling and traditions to get you in the spirit, and how to ‘Get Hygge With It”.
How do you set your own personal hygge space you ask? Have a candle or two lit, maybe use yours from the workshop (see below). Find a cozy backdrop image, something that makes you feel warm and safe and want to connect in a quiet way with family or friends: a crackling fireplace with plush blankets to wrap up in and hot toddies on the coffee table, a pretty woodsy walk for a quiet chat, sharing an easy picnic meal somewhere peaceful, a cute café where you can wrap your hands around a mug of cocoa on a cool day… whatever gets you in that cozy mode!
* For an additional cost, join a 1-hour candle making workshop where you will make two four oz soy candles. Workshop tickets must be purchased by December 1 by 5pm PT, are $55 per person.
