It’s that time of year again! Join us for some vibrant conversation with good food and a great view of downtown from the Diamond Ballroom while we wrap-up another great year with fellow IABC/BC members at the 2016 Annual General Meeting. Hear about our chapter successes from 2015/2016, vote in new business items, and meet your new 2016-2017 chapter board members – including learning about some of the new board roles we’ve created for this year.

As part of our bylaws, we require a quorum of 5% of our membership in order to pass any items on the AGM Agenda. As with every chapter year, we are passing the new board slate and reviewing and approving the financial statements from the previous fiscal year. You can register for the AGM here.

The AGM is a free event open to members, while the Wave Awards reception is a paid event open to members and non-members.

The Wave Awards are IABC/BC’s signature awards program, designed to recognize the people behind the great work in our chapter. Each year, we recognize communicators who have demonstrated excellence either in their day-to-day work, in their contributions to the chapter, in support of a community cause, or as part of a formal learning program.
Join us at the Wave Awards recognition night on June 14 as we celebrate this year’s nominees and reveal the winners, who have gone above and beyond in the name of outstanding, professional communication!
