Why Join IABC/BC?

Why Join IABC/BC?

Glad you asked. When you join IABC/BC, you’ll join a vibrant association of communicators, both locally and across the globe. Even more, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to collaborate and network with leading professionals in the communications industry.

IABC/BC is one of the largest and most active in Canada. Becoming a part of our chapter is your opportunity to meet talented professionals who could be future colleagues, mentors and friends (and yes, even your future boss).

Above all else, IABC/BC is a community. A tight-knit network of people who will support you through every stage of your career. Our members come from all kinds of backgrounds, work in various industries, and have a range of experience. Most importantly, they have your back, whether it’s a quick chat over coffee, mentorship and coaching advice, an introduction to a mutual connection or a referral to a new job opportunity. Every IABC/BC member shapes our chapter with their unique story. Read some of their inspiring stories here.

March is Member Month

Member Month is a great time to join IABC/BC or renew your membership–whether you’ve been a member of IABC/BC for years, are new to communications, or are looking to renew and become more involved.

So, what’s in it for you?

You save 10% on international dues and could win a VIP registration for the 2018 IABC World Conference in Montreal. The VIP registration includes hotel accommodation, reserved seating at keynote sessions, Uber car service, and other goodies.

Plus, if you are an existing member, consider referring new members to our chapter during Member Month to receive:
