DESCRIPTION:The IABC World Conference is coming to Vancouver. It will take 
 place Sunday\, 9 June\, through Wednesday\, 12 June\, at the following two
  hotels: Hyatt Vancouver and Fairmont Vancouver.\n\nYou’ll get the lates
 t trends\, solutions and answers to critical questions facing the communic
 ation profession. Along the way\, you’ll also make valuable connections 
 that will support you and your career for years to come.\nThink Forward\nT
 hink Forward is the theme for the 2019 IABC World Conference. You will spe
 nd 4 days with IABC and get insights and inspiration about what’s trendi
 ng and what you can expect in the future as a communication professional. 
 You’ll also gain global connections with peers. Communicators from nearl
 y 40 countries attended last year’s IABC world conference in Montreal.\n
 Tracks with a focus\nOur sessions will be organized by these five tracks.\
 n\nLeadership and Strategy: This track is geared toward seasoned communic
 ators and those aspiring to leadership roles. Business leaders are looking
  to communications to have a “seat at the table” to help guide and sha
 re business goals and strategies. These sessions will help attendees lead 
 and build respected\, high-value communication functions.\n\nMarketing and
  Brand: This track shows how to unlock your creativity as a communicator 
 and how best to support an organization’s brand. Today’s tools and cre
 ative techniques to reach your audiences are nearly limitless. In these se
 ssions you’ll get insights\, expertise and new ideas to make your messag
 es stand out.\n\nReputation: These sessions uncover the importance of sta
 keholder management and the role communication professionals play in build
 ing relationships in/outside the organization. This track incorporates soc
 ial responsibility and the strategic role of a communication professional 
 in times of crisis.\n\nEmployee Engagement: Through case studies\, best p
 ractices and highlighting creativity in employee communication\, sessions 
 in this track demonstrate the power of communication in building a strong 
 internal culture and the behaviors that support organizational goals.\n\nC
 ommunication Skills: This track has a mix of offerings for communicators 
 early in their careers\, as well as seasoned professionals. Here you’ll 
 get insights and tools about what communication professionals need to know
  and know how to do. We’ll explore trends\, the latest research and the 
 skills needed to remain current now and in the future.\n\n&nbsp\;
