SUMMARY:6th Annual Signature Storytelling Event: Imposter Syndrome
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe theme of IABC/BC’s 6th annual signature storytelling
event this year is Imposter Syndrome.\n\nAs we navigate our communication
careers\, there are times we experience moments of self-doubt. Can I do th
is job? Am I qualified? What if everyone in the room is smarter than me? D
o I really deserve this? These feelings of inadequacy persist even in the
face of evidence to the contrary.\n\nWhether we’ve been thrown in the de
ep-end\, promoted when we didn’t feel ready\,  jumped into a brand new
arena\, or taken a big risk\, these moments of doubt and uncertainty are c
ommon\, but rarely discussed.\n\nLuckily\, the best way to beat imposter s
yndrome is to talk about it! More often than we realize\, others share the
same worries - even (or especially) the most accomplished\, inspiring and
successful among us.\n\nOn Thursday\, April 19\, you’ll hear from eight
speakers who’ll bravely take the stage\, to share five-minute stories o
f times they’ve tackled imposter syndrome. Stories of confronting doubts
and pushing through\, with advice that may be helpful to you in your care
er.\nRegister Now\nYou will be entertained\, inspired and surprised by the
