DESCRIPTION:Developing and maintaining highly effective teams is a key succ
 ess determinant for communication leaders. Participants in this course wil
 l gain valuable knowledge and skills designed to increase their ability to
  develop and manage new teams and to work effectively with established tea

 r / Peggy O’Keefe is a business communication professional with experie
 nce as a corporate executive\, educator and consultant in strategic media 
 communication and technology. Her corporate experience includes corporate 
 communication executive positions in Bankers Trust and The First Boston Co
 rporation\, and as a vice president of multimedia communication in the Glo
 bal Technology divisions of JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. Early training as
  an educator inspired a human focus to her executive roles\, emphasizing s
 taff development\, mentoring and coaching. In addition to global media tec
 hnology management\, her corporate work included recruitment and diversity
  management\, and piloting flexible work arrangements. As an educator she 
 focuses on university\, executive and professional/workforce development p
 rograms. She teaches a variety of undergraduate- and graduate-level market
 ing\, business and cross-cultural communication\, career development\, an
 d leadership and human capital management courses at New York University a
 nd Baruch College. Her professional interests include cross-cultural commu
 nication and diversity management\, particularly in intergenerational work
 place relations. Her experience\, expertise\, and insights on these topics
  have been shared as a speaker and panelist at professional conferences.\n
