 l General Meeting!\nThe end of the 2022-23 chapter year is upon us. It has
  been\, yet again\, a year of incredible work where each of our volunteers
  contributed in their own unique ways - and each piece\, each person\, con
 tributes to the astounding community we call IABC/BC. We are thrilled to i
 nvite you to the in-person 43rd Annual General Meeting for a recap on the 
 past year and to vote for the incoming board slate! Stay tuned for future

 ay to kick-off your summer activities! After the AGM\, stay to connect new
  faces\, reconnect with some old friends\, and celebrate the start and end
  of a new chapter year!\n\nWe’ll also be honouring the nominees and winn
 ers of this year’s Wave Awards! We’ll announce this year’s winners o
 n our website and social channels in the next few weeks and present the aw
 ards to our winners at the social. Join us for a toast of all our nominees
  and winners for their exceptional work that elevates the standard of our 
 chapter.\n\nThe AGM is a free event open to members\, while the Summer Soc
 ial reception is a paid event open to members and non-members. Get your ti

 se register for the IABC/BC Summer Social reception and stay to meet some 
 new friends and catch-up with old friends after the AGM.\n 	The AGM is a f
 ree members-only event\, while the Summer Social reception is a paid event
  open to members and non-members.\n\nAGM documentation\n\nAs part of our b
 ylaws\, we require a quorum of 5% of our membership in order to pass any i
 tems on the AGM Agenda. As with every chapter year\, we are approving the 
 new board slate and reviewing the financial statements from the previous f
 iscal year. Documentation will be emailed directly to all members 14 days
