  beyond
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nJoin IABC/BC’s Internal Communications Special Interest
  Group (SIG) virtual session\, with a focus on crisis communication strate
 gies.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\n\nCrises come in all shapes and s
 izes\, and one thing that is common across them all is the crucial role of
  communicators in responding to them. With an extended world-wide crisis u
 nder our collective belt\, we all have some experience in crisis communica
 tions\, whether as a recipient or sender. In this session\, let's discuss 
 our crisis communication experiences\, what we’ve learned from them and 
 how we may do things differently in the future.\n\nFacilitated by Alfie Pe
 nfold\, Communications Specialist\, IC Thrive\n\nEngaging employees in the
  tech\, sports\, media\, finance and education spaces over the last 10 yea
 rs\, Alfie Penfold employs an energetic and fun approach to internal commu
 nications. With a focus on building meaningful relationships\, putting emp
 loyees first and helping to connect team members\, he seeks to deliver bus
 iness value through effective and strategic communications.\n\nHaving move
 d to Vancouver in 2019\, he is keen to grow his network within the communi
