DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nRegardless of the industry\, a strong communications 
 plan is fundamental to delivering key messaging that resonates with the in
 tended audience. Developing the skills to build these plans early on in yo
 ur career can be beneficial in standing out among other professionals. Thr
 ough the workshop Understanding your Audience\, participants will gain ins
 ights from industry professionals and have the opportunity to apply learni
 ngs by interactively building a communications plan together. Attendees wi
 ll also receive a communications plan template which can be used in their

 is a communications professional with over a decade of combined experience
  in strategic communications in the realms of research\, consulting and hi
 gher education across India and Canada. She currently works as Manager\, I
 nternal Communications at the University of British Columbia\, where she s
 upports the development of bespoke internal communication strategies and c
 ontent through a variety of channels.\n\nAditi holds a Master of Arts degr
 ee in Cultural and Creative Industries from King's College London. She has
  been an IABC member in India and now in Canada. She moved to Canada from 
 New Delhi\, India\, in October 2019\, and enjoys hiking and exploring the 
 outdoors in her new home\, Vancouver.\n\n\n\n\n
