The job

Are you our next Social Media Community Manager? We’re looking for someone who has roughly 5+ years of industry experience to join our amazing Marketing team. What you’ll be up to

  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, industry influencers and partners online
  • Own our strategic direction on our social channels and slack community (Comms-unity), and grow our following and community engagement on these platforms
  • Build our executives’ presence on social media, leveraging their networks and expertise to contribute to our brand
  • Generate / engage in group discussions with communication professionals online
  • Develop, package and schedule engaging content across our networks
  • Write content for the Bananatag Blog in support of social media objectives
  • Monitor performance, report on progress and recommend creative solutions to achieving our goals
  • Internal community engagement:
    • Leverage our amazing employees as brand ambassadors
    • Coordinate our monthly internal e-news
    • Serve as the content lead for our corporate intranet (Sharepoint)

What you’ll come with

  • Experience overseeing a digital community on Slack or similar
  • Proven experience in growing a corporate social media presence
  • Experience crafting social media strategy in support of organizational objectives
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt social media management software (Hubspot)
  • Experience interpreting digital analytics and presenting reports / insights
  • Strong writing skills, and the ability to adapt to match a new brand voice
  • Ability to create / edit eye-catching visual assets to complement social posts
  • Experience managing a corporate intranet
