Designations

Honouring outstanding communications individuals

IABC honours communications individuals who bring credit to their organization and to the profession with the following national and international designations.

Master Communicator (National)

Being designated a Master Communicator is the highest honour IABC Canada can bestow on a member. The designation recognizes outstanding Canadian communicators whose work has brought credit to their organization or clients, IABC and the profession itself. It honours those whose contributions have raised the standards of organizational communication in Canada.

IABC Fellow (International)

Being designated an IABC Fellow is IABC’s highest international honour. This designation is considered a “professional career award,” but is not necessarily limited to members in late career. Indeed, Fellow nominations are open to all IABC members and we encourage you to nominate your fellow members who would qualify.
