PHSA is seeking two creative, compassionate and all-round outstanding communicators to join our team.

Our communications officers are integral to our organization. You will work alongside health system leaders known around the world for treatment, innovation and care. Being a trusted advisor regarding highly complex issues and major capital projects will keep you busy.
Working with both internal and external stakeholders and facilitating key relationships, communications officers bring their storytelling expertise to their role to produce communications that are high quality, consistent and in alignment with the strategic priorities for PHSA and the specific program.
The opportunities: One Temporary and One Regular Full Time Communications Officers, Capital Projects (one opportunity at BC Children’s Hospital and one opportunity at BC Cancer)
Working as a key team member with the respective capital project team and with the PHSA communications team on site, these roles offers the opportunity to provide internal and external communications support on either the redevelopment of a provincial children’s complex care centre in Vancouver or the development of new regional cancer centres. Both of these roles will work with a variety of subject matter experts, community groups and other external stakeholders. The successful candidate for each position will possess empathy and maturity, be a role model for customer service, be skilled in project management and managing competing priorities in consultation with your clients and colleagues.
