Are you passionate about operations and transformation? The University of British Columbia’s Communications department is building our embedded Vice-President, Finance & Operations (VPFO) portfolio communications team.
While the VPFO contains the Comptroller, Treasury, and Financial Operations departments, this is not a “numbers and finance” role. You will support organization-wide projects and be part of a team who are building new communications processes and tools for the portfolio, while integrating with university-wide communications teams and systems.
You’re a connector who easily navigates complex work networks, quickly reads situations, has great judgement, and can prioritize diverse work from many levels. You’ll use your high level of initiative across a wide-range of tasks (from planning to doing) to identify and build lasting tools supporting both day-to-day work and ongoing campaigns and programs.
