We are looking for a SharePoint specialist with communications chops to help us build our new intranet.
The Digital Strategist – SharePoint will play an integral role in supporting the refresh of the corporate intranet at the City of Vancouver. This role supports the project in delivering a content migration strategy that ensures a consistent and high quality user experience across the site. The individual in this role will serve as a key project contact for various lines of business, building relationships within the business to achieve strategic communication objectives.
The Digital Strategist - SharePoint will plan, design, and deliver a variety of web content, on behalf of all departments, including within the City’s content management system (CMS).
They will also ensure cohesiveness and task-oriented user experiences across the site; alignment to departmental and corporate business objectives; protection and enhancement of the City’s reputation; and adherence to standards.
The position reports to the Communications Manager, Internal Communications within the Civic Engagement and Communications department.
