TEMPORARY FULL-TIME (APPROXIMATELY 14 MONTHS)
Forestry Innovation Investment Ltd. (FII) is a B.C. Crown agency with a mandate that includes working with the forest industry, government agencies and other stakeholders to raise awareness of, and demand for, forest products in B.C. and around the world.
FII has a temporary full-time employment opportunity backfilling a maternity leave as Manager, Marketing within our Market Outreach team based in Vancouver. We are looking for someone with a background in marketing or promotions management, preferably with some building and/or wood manufacturing sector experience. The incumbent will assume responsibility for projects that support FII’s marketing and communication activities ensuring the timely delivery of quality products and services. The successful candidate will work with suppliers and stakeholders in providing creative direction for online platforms, digital and print tools and materials such as websites, video, advertisements, factsheets/brochures, presentations and educational resources as well as tradeshows and managing events.
This position requires a minimum of five years prior experience in marketing and communications, event management and advertising, using both traditional and online tools and channels. Excellent organization and time management skills are required along with the ability to multi-task, negotiate requirements and successfully manage suppliers and contractors. Some travel required.
