As the Senior Director, Communications & Community Engagement, you will provide leadership and direction for the implementation of all external and internal communication strategies and brand development for the BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) which encompasses both BC Place Stadium and the Vancouver Convention Centre. As PavCo’s primary spokesperson you will be a gifted relationship builder, communicator and strategist who will modernize how PavCo communicates to the market, the government, and key stakeholders. As an inspiring leader, you will mentor your Communications team and provide expert advice to the Executive and the Board in the areas of branding, media, public relations, government relations, community engagement, employee communications and crisis management.

The ideal candidate will be a strong self-motivated and innovative communications professional offering 12+ years of relevant experience in a customer service driven organization. The Senior Director will have current, positive working relationships at various levels of provincial and municipal government and can effectively leverage strategic relationships with the media, community influencers and industry stakeholders. The candidate will bring a passion for successfully engaging externally and internally, with a proven ability to build high performing teams to meet PavCo’s Service Plan objectives while enhancing public awareness of the contributions and social impact PavCo makes to British Columbia.
