Position Highlights
ICBC is hiring a Senior Marketing Communications Advisor to lead marketing and communications campaigns and programs to drive the business forward. This includes creating the strategy and overseeing the development and implementation of the campaign.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Campaigns and Initiatives, you will:
•Provide strategic advice to the Senior Manager of Campaigns and Initiatives and other senior leaders on marketing and communications to advance corporate goals.
•Develop internal and external marketing and communications campaign strategies for corporate priorities.
•Write strategic plans, agency briefs, and key messages.
•Oversee internal work groups and external contractors who are developing marketing and communications material including advertising, news releases and social media content to ensure alignment with campaign plan.
•Closely monitor internal/external environment, including the competitive landscape, in order to leverage strategic opportunities or adjust strategies accordingly.
•Build and maintain strong working relationships inside and outside the company to enable effective marketing and communications campaigns.
Position Requirements
•Post-secondary education in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business.
•7+ years of experience in a corporate or agency environment, with proven ability to execute multi-channel campaigns.
•Knowledge of the principals, concepts, standards and best practices in the marketing and communications field and related functions including advertising and brand management, stakeholder relations, issues management, media relations and government relations.
•Strong project-management knowledge with project management certification an asset.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
