Description
The communications officer performs a pivotal role in sharing information about initiatives, offerings, and projects of the University’s. This position is privy to confidential matters including University strategy and labor relations and works to provide the public and University community with clear information about the University.
The officer is guided by a strong sense of story and consults with knowledge experts throughout the University community to research, write, and share stories and information. As well, the officer monitors and responds to social media inquiries and statements, always guided by the commitment to presenting accurate, timely information.
