MEDIA SPECIALIST – Competition Number 18-98R
Kwantlen Polytechnic University has an exciting opportunity for a media specialist. Reporting to the Manager, Media and Communications, this full time, permanent position is suited to a talented storyteller with an eye for news and experience handling media inquiries. The successful applicant will have the interpersonal skills to identify positive stories within the KPU community and the communication skills needed to share them with a wider audience. They will be experienced in media relations, with a clear knowledge of current public relations and communications principles and strategies. They will have experience with corporate social media and an enthusiasm for exploring new communication opportunities.
