Position Objective: Reporting to the Founder and Managing Director, the People and Operations Manager will be responsible for developing a wide variety of organizational development strategies, supporting team members to lift performance, shift mindsets and build capability across the company. This position has been strategically designed to facilitate business development and growth while supporting the current client and team roster. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial-minded, solutions-orientated and innovative individual who thrives on making things run efficiently.

With the intention of keeping things fresh and interesting this role will be acting as the backbone of the entire organization, with touchpoints in a wide variety of aspects of the company. Not only will you be in charge of improving the current systems used, but you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing new reporting methods and systems to better facilitate our success tracking and growth to better serve our clients and community. As the People and Operations Manager you will be supporting our team both behind the scenes systems as well as people-related topics.

Key Responsibilities:
• Champion our culture and values positively to drive value-based behaviors.
• Supporting the team with reporting and process development to help streamline communication and increase productivity company-wide
• Manage the company’s master schedule and oversee workflow, time tracking and reports on project timelines.
• Support People in and out of the organization through employee engagement, client management, and vendor coordination.
• Designing and implementing financial cycle activities such as budget planning, cash-flow forecasting and financial growth planning.
• Assist with new business development through prospect research and proposal writing.
• Other duties requested by the Founder and Managing Director, as needed

Qualifications:
• 4+ years of HR/Operational/Management experience in a creative or communications agency.
• Proven track record of building and improving an engaging and welcoming culture as well as operational processes and procedures.
• Passion for establishing successful workflows and processes.
• Familiarity with project management software (we use Monday).
• Some understanding of agency financial management or a willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational development experience supporting team effectiveness, coaching, and culture.
• Experience in leading and advising on performance management and end of employment processes.
• A love for dogs (we are a dog-friendly office)
