Do you excel in communications and see opportunities to affect change through media relations? Do you have a heart for those struggling with homelessness, poverty and addiction, and want to dedicate your skills to help others transform their lives? The Specialist, Media Relations is a crucial role that aims to keep UGM's mission front and center, supporting critical fundraising and advocacy work to help end homelessness and support those struggling with poverty, homelessness and addiction. In this role, you will address, organize, and facilitate media requests on behalf of UGM, acting as a point of contact and media liaison. You will also develop, pitch, and coordinate media relations campaigns.
You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
