Our chapter is trying something new – brunch with IABC members. Building on the popular morning coffee chats and modeled on similar gatherings in other chapters (and the always popular conference dine-around), members will meet for brunch in a casual and relaxed setting. We call it Comms to the table.
Our first pilot gatherings will be on Sunday, November 12 at 11 am. The only cost to you is your meal. All we ask is that you let us know you are coming so we can reserve a spot in the restaurant. You have two locations to choose from:
- Port Coquitlam: The Gillnetter Pub (host: Jacqui d’Eon, ABC, MC)
- North Vancouver: Location TBC (host: Jennifer Wah, ABC, MC, IABC Fellow)
Would you like to host a brunch or dinner gathering of members in your neighbourhood? You can. Your job would be to recommend a suitable restaurant, be the point person for the reservation and make introductions. Email pastpresident@iabc.bc.ca if you’re interested.
