In this SIG, attendees will learn about how augmented reality (AR) can be leveraged for storytelling and communications. Attendees can expect demonstrations, data, and methods to make informed decisions for their own communications strategies.

About the facilitator:
Paige Strand is a communications leader with experiences across the investor relations, financial technology, hotel, real estate, restaurant, automotive and publishing industries. Listed on The Peak’s ‘Emerging Leaders of 2022’ list, she enjoys speaking at conferences and panels to share ideas and learn from others. Renowned and recruited for supporting organizations through a major transformation, Strand recently completed her Prosci Change Management certification to further exercise leadership in both communications and change environments. She is the Director of Marketing and Communications for irlabs and sits on the Economic Development Advisory Committee for the City of New Westminster. She enjoys mentoring, writing for the Catalyst, evaluating for IABC’s Gold Quill Awards program and sits on the Board for IABC’s British Columbia chapter.
