There are a number of roles available on our Career Development team! This team supports our Mentorship program, IABC Certification, and Gift of Communication.
- Hours per week: 1-2, but may increase and decrease depending on deadlines
Creative Services
Email Marketing Manager
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Develops engaging and informative short-form content for email newsletter distribution. This is to ensure and maintain the active engagement of IABC/BC members.
Creative Services Manager
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Creates visually appealing content to enhance and promote the portfolio’s initiatives and IABC/BC’s activities.
Digital Experience
Digital Experience Manager
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Support with website updates, managing the Google Workspace and more
Events
Social Events Coordinator
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Support the Special Interest Group events and would help manage attendees, write social and newsletter blurbs about the events, attend SIGs, and assist with running Zoom
Membership
Content Manager
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Lead social strategy for driving membership, e.g. member month campaigns and social content on the benefit of membership. Use social media, newsletter, eblasts, video, etc.
Member Engagement Manager
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Direct outreach to recruit new members, focusing on corporate and group memberships. Each month, I pull member lists and numbers. In this role, the person will determine ways to engage people in membership and work with the content manager to create campaign content.

Special Interest Groups (SIGS)
SIGS Coordinator
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Support the Special Interest Group events and would help manage attendees, write social and newsletter blurbs about the events, attend SIGs, and assist with running Zoom.
Survey Manager

- Lead survey and monthly member database maintenance
Volunteer Services
Engagement Manager
- Hours per week: 1-2
- Support the Volunteer Services Director in recruitment and connecting with our passionate group of volunteers. Content creation may also be required.
