In partnership with SFU Communication Co-op, IABC/BC invites you to attend Social media marketing: the dos and don’ts, a two-hour workshop led by Jessica MacLeod, PR Coordinator at Jelly Marketing, on May 16.

You’ll learn key concepts of social media marketing for business and best practices for social media platforms. You’ll also receive tips to grow social media, and find awesome free tools to create standout content. At the end, you’ll practice what you’ve learned by drafting a content calendar.

You’ll leave this workshop with a clear understanding of the strategy behind a social media plan, and knowing how to choose the right platform for your brand, stand out with original content and manage time spent on social.

Plus: Jessica will bring a case study to make the event more interactive, and help you see how planning is done in real life.

About the speaker:

Jessica comes to Jelly with a wide range of experience in customer service, experiential marketing, brand promotions, and social media. As a BBA Marketing Management grad, Jessica is eager to contribute fresh ideas and build innovative campaigns for awesome brands. With a passion for social media, she’s always connected and updated on all the latest digital trends.
