Our Volunteers on the Special Interest Groups portfolio with Courtney
- Connie Wu: Connie has been such a pleasure to work with! She always brings new ideas and fresh enthusiasm to each project and discussion. As a copywriter, organizer, and facilitator for Special Interest Groups (SIGs), she’s been an invaluable part of the team.
- Eileen Huster: Eileen has played a big role in the SIGs portfolio this year, helping with everything from speaker recruitment to event planning and copywriting. Her marketing experience and fantastic attitude have been a great asset to every meeting and event.
Our Volunteers on the Social Media Portfolio with Judy
- Mona Lee: A long-time volunteer at IABC/BC, Mona brings exceptional organizational skills as the communications coordinator. She is also an excellent writer who has assisted with content creation for our blog and social media campaigns.
- Sarah Elawa: As a young communications professional, Sarah’s work as our social media manager has kept our content calendar up to date and full of engaging campaigns for our communications community.
- Winnie Joseph: Winnie, a diverse member of our team with expertise in communications, has assisted with various social media projects and brings fresh ideas that contribute to our team’s success.

- Rachael Pérez: Working on a new portfolio can be challenging, so I’m very grateful to Rachael for taking time out of her schedule to help me onboard, ideate, and get accustomed to our audience quickly. Her support has been invaluable in helping us hit the ground running.

- Daniel Cherkezov: I’m so thankful to have Daniel on the team. He was my first volunteer in this portfolio and jumped into the role with incredible enthusiasm and dedication. From day one, he’s brought professionalism and thoughtful insights to everything he touches.
- Reece Avila: Reece consistently brings thoughtful ideas and bold curiosity to the table. She isn’t afraid to revisit ideas and find new, practical ways to bring them to life. Her ability to think outside the box and stay adaptable has made her a valuable part of the team.
