Roll up your sleeves and be prepared to immerse yourself in an interactive workshop. You’ll experience the whole process of building a communications plan from scratch so that it’s consistent and aligned to the organization’s goals. Get ready because we’ll cover the whats, whys and hows.
Offering practical exercises, Erin will walk you through the important steps that lead to an effective communications plan. You’ll learn lots from her, and leave this event ready to rock in the workplace.
Note that this is a hands-on workshop, so please bring your laptop and notebooks.
About our presenter:
Erin Driscoll is a seasoned business communicator. While she’s been an independent consultant for most of her career, she’s also held a number of in-house corporate communications roles and managed a public relations firm.
Always linking activities to the big picture, Erin works closely with her clients to ensure initiatives are aligned with business objectives, and activities are meaningful and results-oriented.
Volunteering and mentoring fill a lot of Erin’s days, as she believes that saying yes to a variety of experiences teaches us things we wouldn’t necessarily set out to learn. It’s not a surprise that she’s been actively involved with our chapter for more than two decades. She chaired the national level awards program and annual leadership conference, and currently evaluates awards submissions and serves as a strategic advisor and mentor to fellow communicators.
Erin is an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), certified in the Prosci Change Management methodology, and holds an Honours Degree, Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons.), from the University of Windsor.
