Regardless of the industry, a strong communications plan is fundamental to delivering key messaging that resonates with the intended audience. Developing the skills to build these plans early on in your career can be beneficial in standing out among other professionals. Through the workshop Understanding your Audience, participants will gain insights from industry professionals and have the opportunity to apply learnings by interactively building a communications plan together. Attendees will also receive a communications plan template which can be used in their next job or co-op role!

Aditi Ghosh is a communications professional with over a decade of combined experience in strategic communications in the realms of research, consulting and higher education across India and Canada. She currently works as Manager, Internal Communications at the University of British Columbia, where she supports the development of bespoke internal communication strategies and content through a variety of channels.
Aditi holds a Master of Arts degree in Cultural and Creative Industries from King’s College London. She has been an IABC member in India and now in Canada. She moved to Canada from New Delhi, India, in October 2019, and enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors in her new home, Vancouver.
