We have an opening for Director, Creative Services and Email Marketing. If you’re curious or looking for a new challenge, I’d love to see your name in the nominations — and I’m always happy to chat if you have questions.

Current vacancies

Director, Creative Services and Email Marketing
You live and breathe creativity and have a knack for visual design. You’re innovative and a natural at building relationships both online and offline, and you’re a pro at creating quality content in visually compelling, bite-sized ways to inform and engage our membership base. In this role, you’ll use our email newsletter and e-blasts to engage members and share all that we offer, as well as lead a team of creative communications professionals and designers as the creative arm of our chapter, weaving together quality digital content to support and enhance our various programs.

Director, Digital Experience
You’re a tech-savvy and creative communications professional, and you’re passionate about digital storytelling that upholds our brand promise and values and puts our members at the heart of everything we do. You enjoy leading a team of multi-functional skill sets, from developing compelling digital content to analyzing channel performance in Google Analytics. In this role, you’ll help us grow our brand and member engagement by managing our IABC/BC website, keep our volunteers engaged and informed by making the most out of our volunteer spaces, and connect job-seekers with employers through our extensive, digital Jobline.

Director, Student + New Communicator Services
You have a strong understanding of where a student or new communicator is at in their career, and can relate to their interests and motivations to climb the career ladder. You are inspired to cultivate relationships with local Universities, relevant communications programs, and newcomer agencies to engage new student members, recent graduates, professionals making a change in career and newcomers to the province. You love to connect with people and be an ambassador of the IABC/BC brand in the community, while helping connect newer members to opportunities within the chapter. In this role you will gain invaluable leadership, budgeting and professional board experience, while building relationships in the local community.

Our board structure

Our board includes volunteer directors who lead specialized portfolios. They are supported by an executive team made up of the president, vice-president, past-president, executive administrator and treasurer. Together, they plan, deliver and oversee all chapter activities in line with our bylaws.

Each director works with a team of volunteers. This is a great way to build people‑leadership skills, mentor emerging communicators and work in a collaborative, safe environment.
